The potency agent Cialis favors the erectile ability and thus allows a satisfactory sexual intercourse. The PDE-5 inhibitor does not increase pleasure, but only has an effect if a sexual stimulus precedes the erection.

Cialis is available in different dosages. The active ingredient tadalafil is included at 5 mg, 10 mg or 20 mg. The prescription drug is only for use in adult men over the age of 18 years.

How to take Cialis?

Cialis (5 mg, 10 mg, 20 mg) helps to improve the erectile function of adult men. The active ingredient tadalafil inhibits the body’s own substances in their effect and allows a longer erection of the penis. In consultation with the doctor, Cialis may be taken as needed prior to sexual contact. Continuous medication is only possible at low doses (2.5 mg, 5 mg) of the active substance.

There are currently several studies on the active substance tadalafil. The results of a prospective study by a urologist from Hamburg are especially convincing. He prescribed 405 patients with diagnosed erectile dysfunction (impotence) a sexual enhancer after individual consultation.

At regular intervals the active substance (tadalafil, sildenafil and vardenafil) was changed. Forty-five percent of its patients preferred the active ingredient tadalafil due to its particularly long duration of action of up to 36 hours.

On medical advice, men took Cialis during the afternoon if sexual contact was imminent the same evening or the following day.

In contrast, only 14 to 29% of the subjects preferred a different active ingredient. A total of 12% of all participating men had no effect on any type of PDE-5 inhibitors.

A total of six clinical trials with the active substance tadalafil were performed. Only one of which is completely published. In all study designs, Cialis (2.5mg to 20mg) was compared to placebo. 1,112 men with an average age of 59 years participated in the studies and showed mental and / or organic causes of erectile dysfunction. Psychogenic triggers include stress, fear of failure, depression, fatigue and relationship problems. The organic causes include, but are not limited to, vascular diseases such as hypertension (hypertension) or arteriosclerosis, obesity, diabetes (diabetes), lipid metabolism disorder and multiple sclerosis.

As a result, the frequency of satisfactory erection on placebo increased by only 6% to 31%. When Tadalafil 10mg was used, testers experienced an increase from 34% to 58%. In contrast, Cialis 20mg caused an increase from 39% to 70%.

Tadalafil belongs to the group of phosphodiesterase inhibitors (PDE-5 inhibitors). Its main task is a blood circulation-enhancing effect in the penis.
